“Los hijos del Catatumbo” fue ganador en Bogoshorts Festival (Colombia) 2013 como Mejor documental, y hoy hace parte del Centro de Memoria Histórica de Colombia, después de haber sido considerado prueba ante la CIDH, por los hechos allí registrados.
Fue nominado a Mejor fotografía de guerra Conflicto en HD, en el Panorama Colombia Film Festival de Berlín e hizo parte de la selección oficial de festivales como The Colombian New York Film Festival, el International Film Festival de Sao Paulo y Shorts México.
“Los hijos del Catatumbo” was the winner at the Bogoshorts Festival (Colombia) 2013 for Best Documentary, and today it is part of the Center for Historical Memory of Colombia, after being considered evidence before the IACHR, for the events recorded there.
It was nominated for Best HD Conflict War Photography at the Panorama Colombia Film Festival in Berlin and was part of the official selection of festivals such as The Colombian New York Film Festival, the International Film Festival of Sao Paulo and Shorts México.
